MoH promises to probe complaints

An article in Mmegi of Friday September 23, 2011 criticises the Ministry of Health (MoH) for failing to uphold its identified values of Botho and Timeliness. The author narrates his recent experience at one of MoH's facilities, Area W, to be specific.

The ministry wishes to state that if in fact the incident happened, it is unacceptable and regrettable.  The ministry takes great exception to such behaviour, which is clearly not in line with its values and aspirations.  The alleged incident is being investigated.

The ministry wishes to reaffirm its commitment to providing quality health service and achieving customer satisfaction within the confines of its identified values of Botho, Timeliness, Customer Focus, Equity and Teamwork.
