Mabiletsa deserves to be Leader of Opposition

Reports that Isaac Mabiletsa of the Botswana National Front (BNF) faces revolt in his attempt to become the Leader of the Opposition in Parliament is incorrect.

There is no such revolt.  In fact a majority of BNF members and structures want the party through its vice president to take over the leadership of opposition in Parliament. It is unimaginable that any right thinking BNF members would not want their party to be the leading opposition party in Parliament. It is simply senseless that BNF members could be said to be against Mabiletsa being the Leader of the Opposition.

Those who do not want the BNF to take over the leadership of opposition belong to a cabal within the BNF that protects and works with the BMD.This cabal prefers the BMD over the BNF is made up of (Duma) Boko (BNF president), Moeti Mohwasa, Mohammed Khan and others.  It is clear from the public statements, which Boko always makes, that he is a BMD man and he will do anything possible to make sure that the BMD retains its position as the Leader of the Opposition.
