BNF-YL supports Comrade Ntime

In our view an umbrella model is still born. From the genesis of the opposition cooperation project, which we have always supported, we argued that the model that has been adopted is not feasible for a plethora of reasons. Our voice as the BNF-YL was drowned in the excitement generated by the public sector strike. The leadership unwittingly also succumbed to the pressure exerted by the media which was in support of a total merger of opposition parties.
In the process Comrades failed to engage in sober and rational analysis of the cooperation models that have been proposed by political entities engaged in the co operation talks. Comrades were blinded by greed and opportunism and hence failed to see the pitfalls that lay ahead. Notably, members of the BNF central committee had already positioned themselves to stand in constituencies that would be allocated to the BNF under an umbrella model.
It underscores the indispensable role women play in our society, particularly in building strong households and nurturing families.
