I was listening to a DumaFm tribute of Sir G. My phone was off, when done I switched on and there were 2 missed calls from my friend and pastor.

He is in pain. He has been in pain since Wed. He tells me he is trying to pray, but his head is so painful its difficult. Tears flow but I dont tell him coz he needs me to assure him all is well - even thou its his job as a Pastor, a preacher of the Word, a counsellor and all.. But he needs help. He needs me to counsel him; I fail coz I keep on saying “eish!”.

Bathong ga ke rate go tsimola, but I have been since. My pastor is a BDP candidate. He was a close buddy of Sir G. I am just an ordinary BNF/UDC member. And Sir G was a buddy. My pastor friend and I are of the Pentacostal Christian faith. Sir G ne e le Molontone - of the mainline church. It is not about political affiliations. It is not about where you churched. It is not about the team you supported; him being Rollers and me being GU. No, it is about the raw pain of loosing a friend. Add a leader, and matters become complex.

BDP primaries leave a lot to be desired

The BDP as a party known to have ample resources has always held its primaries well in time, but this time around that was not the case. The first leg of the primaries was held last weekend, with the final leg being billed for the coming weekend. This time around, the BDP failed to shine in its primary elections.
