State of the nation

I would like to remind the President that he has to be truly honest when he presents to Batswana the State of the Nation address in Parliament during the month of November. As the leader holding the highest political post in our country, he has a huge responsibility to give Batswana the real å of what is going on

The reason I say that he should be truly Honest is because he normally relies on information gathered for him and a speech written for him. Ministries are not functioning properly and efficiently, people are scared to lose their posts, therefore reports that reach Khama are falsified in many instances. Issues that need real and serious attention are glossed over and everything is made to look fine.

The President should stand up and take charge instead of allowing his hand picked henchmen and women, tell him that everything is fine.
