Botsalano PS alumni in sponsored walk

Botsalano Primary School Alumni Association in Tlokweng will conduct a sponsored walk in Tlokweng on Saturday, September 26, 2015. The main objective of the sponsored walk is to reaffirm the BPS Alumni Association’s commitment to the school by way of mobilising funds and related resources to serve as inputs to the school in its endeavour to become an epitome of excellence.

The proceeds of the sponsored walk will be directed towards the developments of the school.

 The association exists purely as a charitable entity and its objectives include among others; To cultivate support from all relevant stakeholders to ensure the environment at the school is conducive for learning;

 To provide a platform for former students to plough back to the school; To establish areas of collaboration and identify potential stakeholders to support the school to realise its strategic foundations.

 The event will start at 6:30am under the theme “A walk for academic excellence; 1969-2015” and will continue until 11am. This event is held in partnership with the school management.

The Chief Executive Officer of National Development Bank and also Botsalano Primary School graduate, Mrs Lorato Charity Morapedi will grace the event as the Chief Walker.

It is expected that the Ministry of Education and Skills Development, South East Region Director, B. Rauwe together with officers from the Ministry and the school’s retired teachers will attend.

What about employees in private sector?

How can this be achieved when there already is little care about the working conditions of those within the private sector employ?For a long time, private sector employees have been neglected by their employers, not because they cannot do better to care for them, but because they take advantage of government's laxity when it comes to protecting and advocating for public sector employees, giving the cue to employers within the private sector...
