BDP state lacks intuitive logic of development

Despite being classified as a middle high-income country, many of Botswana's inhabitants still do not have a purpose and a claim on the necessities of life and at least some of its pleasures.

This is due to the fact that the BDP Government does not have the conviction that the introduction of a manufacturing sector would solve the fundamental economic problems of the time. BDP State lacks a better understanding of the mechanisms that create economic growth; it supports low – quality activities in terms of their potential to produce wealth. The conditions in which BDP flourishes include a low wage, profit – oriented economy and inadequate government assistance for the poor.
