The Tribal Land Act No. 1 of 2018, which came into operation on April 20, 2022, has introduced a number of far reaching changes in relation to tribal land. We set out below what we believe are the most significant of these changes.

  • Tribal land has been defined to mean land in a tribal area it also means any interest in tribal land.
