The Tribal Land Act No. 1 of 2018, which came into operation on April 20, 2022, has introduced a number of far reaching changes in relation to tribal land. We set out below what we believe are the most significant of these changes.

Tribal land has been defined to mean land in a tribal area it also means any interest in tribal land.
