Zimbabwean Murder Accused Turns State Witness

The lead state counsel, Ambrose Mubika, in the murder case involving three Zimbabwean nationals, on Friday made an application to use one of the accused as an accomplice witness.

Mubika told the court that they intend to use the third accused person, Isaac Ngoma as a state witness in a case that will see him turn against his fellow country men.

Mubika told the court that the state wishes to withdraw charges against Ngoma which is supported by provisions under Section 278 (3) of Criminal Procedure and Evidence Act (CP&E) as read with Section 150 (4) of the CP&E
