Zim attorneys' practices put under curatorship

FRANCISTOWN: Two former Zimbabwean magistrates who were practising law in Maun have abandoned their respective legal practices.

The two are Walter Chikanda, a former Gantsi magistrate, and Ntsikelelo Mafa Moyo, a Maun magistrate. 

Law Society of Botswana (LSB) executive administration officer Bernard Bogosi disclosed that Chikanda of Chikanda Attorneys has failed to comply with LSB regulations since last year. "Chikanda has not been practising law since last year. He has since been removed from the roll of practising attorneys by the Registrar and Master of the High Court."
