LUSAKA: Zambian authorities recently issued two warrants for the arrest of four people, including three Czech nationals, who jumped bail leaving behind their passports in the custody of the Clerk of Court in Zambia.

The trio of Michal Vebr, Jiri Cetel and Jan Coufal, 36, were arrested in Lusaka last October and charged with espionage after they allegedly took pictures and made sketches of military installations.

The warrant is returnable on March 1 when there will be a hearing involving sureties.
