Youth club cleans up Serowe wards

SEROWE: As a large village, Serowe comprises numerous wards and on its outskirts in the north easterly direction, is a quiet, sleepy ward called Mannathoko.

Often people jokingly refer to the ward as Paje because of the distance you travel from the centre of the village to reach it. It is also in proximity to the village of Paje, a few kilometers along the Orapa-Serowe Road. The ward falls under Councillor Queen Setlalekgosi and the Serowe North constituency, under Member of Parliament (MP) Tshekedi Khama.

Mannathoko is one of the cleanest wards in Serowe and that cannot be solely attributed to the work done by Ipelegeng workers. It is also from the efforts of the Serokolwane Inter Club (SIC), an organisation that was formed with the main objective of mobilising youth off the streets and offering productive activities to partake in.
Other objectives of the club include cleaning the village and participating in different sports' codes.
