FRANCISTOWN: Dating in high school attracts different opinions from different people. While some regard it as a waste of time, others think it is helpful for grasping the rudiments of relationships and as preparation for marriage.

Some people think it depends on the individuals involved and the reason they are involved with each other. For 29-year old Keorapetse Queen Ikeleng, dating at high school enabled her to appreciate the strengths and weaknesses of her fiance - who began as a 15-year old boyfriend - better.

"I met him in high school," she says. "We have been together ever since and are getting married later this year.
