Would Mogae grant hangman go-ahead?

FRANCISTOWN: Kedisaletse Tsobane has joined two other death row inmates at the Gaborone Maximum Prison. Justice Modiri Letsididi sentenced Tsobane to death on Wednesday for the murder of his daughter, Kgotso Macfallen on January 20, 2004 in Francistown.

The judge ruled that the aggravating features far outweighed the extenuating circumstances. He also found that the murder was premeditated.

Tsobane strangled the 10-year-old Macfallen with an electric cable and tied her lifeless body to a tree to appear as if she had committed suicide. The other two death row inmates are the Zimbabweans, Gerald Jerry Dube and Shakuhungira Loeto Baitsholedi.
