Woman stabbed to death at Police station

FRANCISTOWN: A woman died at the reception of Central Police Station in Francistown where she was stabbed several times on Saturday by a man said to be her lover.

The man is alleged to be a 22-year-old auto mechanic with BCL mine in Selebi-Phikwe, while the women is 20 years old. Information reaching Mmegi indicates that the man was earlier spotted chasing the girlfriend. The woman took refuge at the Central Police Station.

Later the man entered the station and stabbed her while she was waiting to be served at the police reception area. The stabbing incident left the police reception area smeared with blood.
