A tragic incident occurred early Sunday morning in Partial, Gaborone, along the Nyerere-Sobusa road, resulting in the death of a 43-year-old woman.

The fatal collision involved a Toyota Corolla she was driving and a Golf GTI. Broadhurst traffic officer, Assistant Superintendent Matlhogonolo Baraedi said the accident took place at around 12:55am.

"The deceased died on the spot after her Toyota Corolla collided with a Golf GTI that was driven by a 39-year-old man. We suspect that one of the drivers failed to stop by the traffic lights resulting in a collision," he explained. Baraedi added that the GTI had two occupants, the driver and a 35-year-old male passenger, both of whom were experiencing body pains.
