Witness in murder case disappears

LOBATSE: A traditional doctor who is expected to give evidence in a murder trial against former prison warder Agisanyang Motukwa is nowhere to be found.

Yesterday Lobatse High court heard that the police are still trying to locate Thabo Samorobe. The court also heard that another witness who is also a girlfriend to the third accused Gaolatlhe Thusang, is playing "hide and seek" with the police. Lindy Ramotshabo who is expected to give evidence against her boyfriend, has also allegedly disappeared into thin air. 

The state prosecutor Rahim Khan told the court that when the police recorded a statement from Samorobe, the traditional doctor was based in Gaborone, Old Naledi location.  He added that when the police went back for him, they could not find him. He was rumored to have relocated to some cattle post on the outskirts of Molepolole.
