Winter temperatures in Botswana predicted

Department of Metrological Services have predicted that Tshabong will have the lowest temperatures, with a minimum of 1.3 Degree Celsius (C) in June and 0.7 Degree Celsius in July.

This will be the coldest area across the country. Maximum temperatures will be 22.2 Degree Celsius in June and 22.1 Degree Celsius in July, which are also a bit chilly.

They also predict that generally, this winter season, minimum and maximum temperatures across the country will mostly be above average. However, the department warns that temperatures will occasionally drop to average or below average.  Jwaneng will also suffer the chill of the winter with minimum temperatures of 4.2 Degree Celsius in June and 3.9 Degree Celsius in July. Maximum temperatures in June will be 22.2 Degree Celsius and 22.1 Degree Celsius in July.
