Will Masitara deliver the P100 000 BDP pledge?

The Executive Secretary of the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP), Dr Comma Serema has denied that central committee member, Robert Masitara has failed to meet the deadline for his P100,000 pledge to the party. Masitara was one of the influential BDP members who made a pledge during the party's congress which was held in Molepolole in July.

In a bid to raise funds for the forthcoming general elections, the BDP appealed to its members for financial donations.

The BDP treasurer, Satar Dada who is one of the BDP major funders, pledged to donate P500, 000. Masitara, a relative newcomer to the BDP, pledged P100,000.
