Why the survey

This study was conceptualised out of a need to measure people's perceptions on the eve of a new political epoch and the end of President Festus Mogae era.

We set out to find out what the public's perception is on the impending leadership of President Ian Khama. Most importantly to find out the public choice on the Vice President. This is particularly, important given that the public and to a greater extent even parliament can do very little than endorse the choice of Vice President.

It is important in a democracy to constantly gauge the views and perceptions of the public on policies and decisions that impact on their daily lives. We are convinced that this study is one such attempt.
