Why non-motorised transport is failing to take-off

The non-motorised transport initiative in Gaborone has been embraced by the people though implementation remains a problem, the project's manager, Boatametse Modukanele has said.

"We have held workshops to inform the public about our project. We have met women groups, leaders and other stakeholders.

In such workshops, it was clear that they bought our idea and perhaps even sold it elsewhere. But agreeing and practice are not the same thing.
