Residents of the Bophirima ward in the Gaborone Bonnington South constituency have been advised to vote 'wisely' on April 9.

Speaking at the well-attended Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) launch, party chairperson Vice President Slumber Tsogwane said residents should not trust opposition parties with their vote, as they are still busy with their internal fights. Launching party aspirant candidate, Onkemetse Mothei on Saturday, Tsogwane said the Botswana Congress Party president, Dumelang Saleshando has made things easier for them as he had explained that there is no candidate for opposition parties, therefore, they are the only alternative that people could trust. “Rona ga re ba dintwa.
