Botswana National Front (BNF) president, Otsweletse Moupo, will tomorrow launch the party's parliamentary candidate for Gaborone South, Akanyang Magama, officials have confirmed.

Magama buried the hatchet with the BNF leadership recently following an acrimonious legal battle. A few months ago, it was inconceivable that Moupo would launch Magama as a BNF candidate.  Magama  nearly did not make it as a BNF candidate until after the courts intervened.

Trouble for him started after  he won the primary elections by beating Gaborone lawyer, Tebogo Sebego.  His primary elections victory was shortlived because the party ordered a re-run in the constituency. The BNF leadership ordered the re-run in Gaborone South and banned Magama for unspecified offences.
