Valentine tragedy for Marina nurses

The girlfriend is a nurse at Marina. Sources say she was assaulted after she failed to come home early on the night of Valentine's Day.  The two are said to have been living together in Block 6, Gaborone.

It is said that the deceased had called the girlfriend to inquire about the time she would be coming home as he had planned to spend the day with her. But the girlfriend reportedly said she was at her brother's house and would come home late. The boyfriend then called the brother to confirm whether she was at his place but he (brother) said no.  Upon arrival at the house, the deceased is said to have assaulted the girlfriend with equipment he uses for exercising.
