Unions, DPSM meet

The public service unions and the Directorate of Public Service Management (DPSM) met yesterday evening for the first time since the nationwide strike started.

 According to DPSM Director Festina Bakwena, the meeting, which was initiated by the unions, was meant to clarify issues concerning the continuation of the strike.

"While the strike is a major concern to us there is absolutely nothing on government's side to remove the conditions placed on the offers that we offered the unions before the strike," Bakwena said.
