LOBATSE: The Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC) invaded the usually sleepy town of Lobatse to launch its parliamentary and council candidates last Saturday. UDC partners, Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD), Botswana National Front (BNF) and Botswana People’s Party (BPP) painted Cooperative Freedom Square orange, yellow and black as they started their campaigns for Lobatse MP, Nehemiah Modubule.

They described the legislator as a true representative and an intellectual with characteristics of a great leader.

UDC leader, Duma Boko, who launched Modubule said he was certain that the candidate would represent the residents of Lobatse well and that through his knowledge, he would be able to argue efficiently.
