The Department of Library and Information Studies (DLSI) at the University of Botswana (UB) will host an international conference from April 17 to 19, 2019 in Gaborone at the University of Botswana Conference Centre.

The theme of the conference is ‘Information and Knowledge Management Towards the Attainment of Sustainable Development Goals and the Knowledge Based Economy’.

In the knowledge based society, sustainable development should be attained through creation, generation and application of new knowledge,” Segomotso Keakopa, a member of the DLIS Conference Organising Committee media liaison officer said.
