UB exams vendor awaits fate

A former University of Botswana mathematics lecturer who has been convicted on four counts of corruption will know his fate on Thursday.

Thebe Basebi appeared before the village magistrate, Mareledi Dipate, accused of selling mathematics examination papers to some students in November 2007.

Basebi was entrusted with the safekeeping of the examination papers by university and was caught selling them to some students.
