UB And Stellenbosch Sign Broad Agreement

The University of Botswana and South Africa's Stellenbosch University on Friday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) covering wide-ranging matters of mutual academic interest.

The agreement covers collaborative matters dealing with law, economics, renewable energy, African languages and French. Vice Chancellor Professor Bojosi Otlhogile signed for UB, while the Vice Chancellor Professor Russel Botman signed on behalf of Stellenbosch University.

The cooperation entails exchange of staff and students, joint research projects, joint supervision and external examinations, mutual assistance in the establishment of new programmes, exchange of information and publications, joint organisation of conferences and workshops and access to analytical facilities.
