Two Zim Suspects Still At Large

Police investigating the Kanye cash loan robbery that claimed a police officer’s life early this year say investigations have been completed despite their futile efforts to locate two Zimbabwean suspects.

Kanye Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officer, Ranchi Olebile, told the Monitor that the long investigations have been completed and that the rest of the suspects will soon be committed to the High Court to stand trial.

“The investigations are now over and what is left is for the Directorate of Public Prosecutions to commit them to the High Court to stand trial for the murder and attempted murder charges,” he said.
