Two ex-employees lose unfair dismissal claims

FRANCISTOWN: The Industrial Court has dismissed a case in which two employees are claiming that they were dismissed unfairly and claiming monies that they should have been paid.

Industrial Court judge Justice Tapiwa Marumo dismissed the case, stating that some of the money was paid and on other applications there was no proof.

The two applicants, Keolopile Morolong and Chite Matibini, appeared before the Industrial Court in Francistown on Monday where they were claiming payment from their former employer, The Nest Lodge, where they worked as security guards.
