Tutume police perturbed by spike in suicides

FRANCISTOWN: Police in Tutume are alarmed by an increase in suicides in their policing precinct. In an interview with Mmegi this week, the Commander of Tutume Police Station, Superintendent Vusimusi Jorowe said four suicides and two attempted suicides had occurred in the space of just two months.

Three of the four suicides were by men. All the suicides involved young people between the ages of 25 and 35 years.
