While the family of South African musician, Tokollo Tshabalala was celebrating, the Monyatsi's, family of Maria, the victim of a car accident, were left even more saddened searching for clues about how next to seek justice for their daughter.

The Monyatsi family waited for seven years hoping to see justice done.
Tshabalala was set free by Gaborone Chief Magistrate, Lot Moroka on charges of causing death by dangerous driving, killing Monyatsi and Tumelo Monaisa.

Tshabalala was the driver of the convertible BMW which collided with Monyatsi's Ford Leisure in a horror smash near Ledumadumane in Mogoditshane in 2001.
The BMW belonged to the controversial Gaborone socialite, Bissau Gaobakwe.
Moroka ruled that Tshabalala had no case to answer since the state failed to establish prima facie evidence against him.
