Tshabalala argues 'no case to answer'

The Village Magistrate Court yesterday heard that Tokollo Tshabalala was the driver of the BMW that collided with Maria Monyatsi's Ford Leisure, killing her and a passenger in the BMW, Tumelo Desmond Monaise, who died later on March 17th 2001.

Other passengers in the BMW were Kenneth Dibotelo, Godfrey Goofy Pilane and Bissau Gaobakwe, the court heard. The public gallery was packed to capacity.

Gaobakwe took the witness box yesterday in the case in which his friend Tshabalala is facing two counts of culpable homicide.
