Trouble Looms At BOAD

Trouble seems to be brewing at the Botswana Association of the Deaf (BOAD), if allegations by the executive are anything to go by.

Some members of the association have reported a case to the police. On Friday, the Central  Police Station commander, Takongwa Mazwiduma, confirmed that indeed a case of donation money gone missing has been reported to them. The money came from the Office of the President.

He said they are still investigating. At the Center of the controversy are allegations that the P14,000 that was donated to the association by President Festus Mogae last year has disappeared.
