Floggings in Kgatleng are continuing despite threats by officers from the Directorate on Public Prosecutions (DPP) to cancel bail for the Kgosi Kgafela III and his family.

On Saturday night, Phillip Matswe (34), got the wrath of the regiments when they gave him six strokes on his back for allegedly driving through a group of women undergoing initiation in Mochudi.

Matswe, a Botswana Defence Force (BDF) soldier stationed at SSKB, said yesterday that he was driving along a public tarred road at around 8pm when he came across a group of people walking.
