Toddler sexually abused in Letlhakane

Police in Letlhakane are investigating a matter in which a two-year-old infant was sexually abused at Metsiaela ward in the village.

According to assistant superintendent Tsholofelo Masole, the infant stays under the care of her grandmother. The 74-year-old woman left the child in the care of her 25-year-old aunt and his grandfather. 

The old woman was on a visit to her ailing family member in Lerala. When the woman returned she did not realise anything untoward about her granddaughter until the next day.
