Today is end of ploughing season for the south

The Ministry of Agriculture had extended the season for farmers in this part of the country by four days due to the recent continuous downpours that interrupted ploughing.
The principal agricultural information officer at MoA, Nathaniel Motshabi, said the extension followed numerous requests from farmers. "Initially the closing date was January 31, but the ministry extended it by four days, which ends today," Motshabi said.
