To help or not to help?

FRANCISTOWN: Last week while at a local pub, I could not help but eavesdrop on an interesting tete-a-tete between two middle-aged gentlemen who were seated next to me.

One of the gentlemen (whom I shall call Tebza) was telling the other how criminals recently robbed him of his expensive Blackberry cellphone in full view of passers-by.

According to him, it all happened at around 7.30pm as he walked to a nearby grocery shop. On his way, he was confronted by two men who pointed a knife at him, demanding his cellphone and money.
