Tlokweng police investigate double rape

Police in Tlokweng are investigating two rape cases that were reported Sunday morning after occurring in different places in the area.

In an incident in which a 20-year-old woman was attacked and raped by a stranger while walking home alone from a local bar around 3am police are yet to locate and arrest the unknown suspect.

Confirming the cases, No: 3 Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Theriso Thatayotlhe said the victim could not identify the suspect because it was dark. “After committing the offence the suspect fled the crime scene. Investigations of these kinds of cases are giving us a headache because we are looking for someone who is not known.
