Tlokweng cllrs jump to BNF

Two Tlokweng councillors from the Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) have jumped ship to the Botswana National Front (BNF), saying their former home has “serious problems”.

Last week, Mmegi revealed that BMD’s four Tlokweng councillors were all contemplating moves away from the troubled opposition party. Three were expected to decamp to the BNF, while one was said to be set on the Alliance for Progressives (AP).

“It is true I have joined the BNF,” Lesunyaneng ward councillor, Kenneth Kgosimore told Mmegi yesterday.
