Police say they have in their custody three Zimbabwean nationals for possession of suspected stolen property at the Dibete Barrier gate.

According to the police, they had initially arrested Kudakwasa Mukosera (27) who was found in possession of 100 metre copper cable with an estimated value of P100, 000 and a tower battery valued at P4, 000, which he failed to account for.

The items were found during a search on a bus that was travelling from Gaborone to Harare, Zimbabwe. However, during further investigations, Mukosera’s arrest later led the police to the arrest of two more Zimbabweans in Gaborone West, namely, Emmanuel Machengete (37) and Mariam Masoja (52) who were linked to the offence.
