Three killed as ritual murderers strike

LUSAKA: Three people from the same family have been brutally murdered and a fourth is missing in the Copperbelt town of Mufulira, about 350km north of Lusaka.

Local police told journalists that the deaths of the three - a mother and her two daughters - had all the hallmarks of ritual killings.

Police spokesman Bonny Kapeso said the three bodies, including that of a one-year-old baby, were found with body parts missing as the killers made a crude attempt to inter their victims in shallow graves.
