Three Kalafatis killers get 11 years

LOBATSE: Three of the four security agents found guilty of the murder of John Kalafatis have been jailed for 11 years.

High Court Judge David Newman yesterday sentenced Botswana Defence Force (BDF) officers Goitshosamang Sechele, Ronny Matako and Boitshoko Maifala to 11 years behind bars backed dated to the time they spent in jail until the delivery of the jail term.

As for Dzikamani Mothobi, Newman sentenced the Military Intelligence officer to four years in prison, three of which were suspended for three years on condition he does not commit any offence.
