Three Bulela Ditswe 'victims' go independent

FRANCISTOWN: Three Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) councillors have defied their party, vowing to register as independent candidates or the 2009 general election.

They lost the party primaries last year and their protests were not heard.

At the Monday Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) stakeholders' workshop, the three introduced themselves as independent candidates at their respective areas.
