Three Batswana die in SA crash

Three young Batswana men aged between 20 and 30 years died in the early hours of Sunday morning when the car they were travelling in collided head-on with another vehicle just 20 kilometers outside Rustenburg in South Africa.

Public relations officer for Botswana Police Service Assistant Commissioner, Christopher Mbulawa said although they do not as yet have details on the accident, reports indicate that the three young men were burned beyond recognition and police are assisting their South African counterparts in identifying the relatives of the deceased.

"As it is at the moment the case is being investigated by South African police and we can assist them by identifying the parents of the deceased," Mbulawa said yesterday.
