Thieves steal P47,000 from businessman

A businessman lost more than P 47,000 when thieves broke into his house on the 5th of April 2012 at Extension 19 in Broadhurst Gaborone.

It is reported that on the night of the 5th of April thieves broke into the businessman's house and stole money amounting to around P 47,000 and other undisclosed amounts in foreign currency.

The thieves also got away with a laptop worthy P 12,500.00, an I-Pod worth the same amount and an I-Phone worthy P 8,500. According to information from the Station Commander of Broadhurst Police Station Superintendent Goratwang Odumetsi, the 36 year old Indian man said that the reason he kept such large a amount of money in his house was because he was going to use it in his trip, as he was scheduled traveling to his home country the next day.
