Two more suspects have been arrested in connection to the murder of a security officer who was recently found in a pool of blood at Themashanga clinic.

The arrest of the duo adds to a total of three suspects linked to the security officer's murder.

Tshesebe police were alerted about the 58-year-old security officer's murder on December 23 around 6am after he was found lying in a pool of blood with a deep wound on his forehead. Police suspect that he was struck with a blunt object.

MmegiOnline has learnt that some of the stolen medications were Antiretroviral drugs (ARVs).


Tshesebe' acting police station commander, assistant superintendent, Motlamedi George, said on the fateful morning, the clinic was broken into and some medication stolen.

"That morning we managed to arrest the first suspect, a 35-year-old man of Themashanga village who later revealed his two co-accused whom we have since arrested and currently have in custody for investigations. “We have since managed to retrieve three boxes of medications and investigations into the matter are ongoing," George said.
