The players in the Kalafatis killing

A number of sources say the DIS expended both human and other resources into the planning and the killing of Kalafatis. The DIS is said to have been at the centre of this plan. Names of both junior and senior agents of the DIS are mentioned in connection with the execution of Kalafatis. 

Military Intelligence (MI)
The Military Intelligence is one of the elite units under the Botswana Defence Force. Various sources have alleged that agents of the MI were involved in both the planning and the actual killing of Kalafatis. The MI, it is said, worked closely with the DIS. In many assignments, the MI and DIS work hand in hand. There are indications that the two are working so closely that they are only separate on paper or in theory.
