The Patriot finds alternative printer

*Editor vows never to print with PPCB

Weekly broadsheet, The Patriot on Sunday, is back on newsstands after failing to print its January 20 - 26, 2013 edition due to what has been described as "censorship" and "editorial interference" by printers, Printing and Publishing Company Botswana (PPCB), a MISA news alert announced yesterday.

Last week, the Media Institute of Southern Africa (MISA) reported that the printers were reacting to a story that was due to be published by the newspaper about a police raid on a chicken farm owned by Satar Dada, the ruling party's - Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) - Treasurer-General, who also owns part of PPCB.
